I see myself when I’m 50

I pretend that I am a unicorn
I feel happy
I touch the grass
I worry when I am about to go away
I cry for my dead cats

Last week on wednesday i had an expo night to show my personal project that I had made I made an a3 booklet on rhinos here are some of the facts.
The name “white rhinoceros” is a mistranslation from Dutch to English. The English word “white” is said to have been derived by mistranslation of the Dutch word “wijd”, which means “wide” in English. The word “wide” refers to the width of the rhinoceros’s mouth.

The Black Rhinoceros uses its prehensile lip in a similar way to how giraffes use their prehensile tongues and monkeys use their prehensile tails.

These two terms have been fun, challenging and busy I enjoyed doing things like aquatics I did the activities kayaking snorkelling and sailing. My favourite was sailing. I learnt how to write the formula for an algebraic equation in maths. I also enjoyed auditioning for the play. I got the part Hans. One of my favourite things was playing SAPSASA cricket in the rain. I think I have done well in lifestyle/homework because I got it done most of the time. I had three goals for term one my maths goal was to get better at division my English goal was to improve my punctuation and my personal goal was to learn how to bowl leg spin in cricket. My term two I had three goals my English goal is to put in 99.99 % effort into my literature circles work. My maths goal was to get better at my 7, 8, 9, 12 times tables. My personal goal was to kick at least three goals in soccer in terms one and three. Overall these two terms have been fun busy and exciting.

It was early the sun was just starting to rise it was still fairly dark it is always dark in this house even midday in summer it is dark. All my owner ever does is use me eat, and watch TV he is very fat, my owner has been using me for 25 years.
I felt that something bad or strange was going to happen today over the years my leg has been going numb more and more each day but today it wasn’t numb it was hurting like my leg was going to snap I could feel the splinters in my leg slowly separating like all the little individual pieces of wool in a woollen jumper being pulled apart by a little toddler.
My owner sat down on me my leg snapped his bowl of popcorn and can of coke spilled all over me and my owner fell over he could only just get up he almost didn’t get up because of his stubby little legs a few minutes later I got thrown into a dark smelly place.
The next morning I heard a beep beep beep the noise of a rubbish truck taking me to the dump I fell into the dark smelly truck a few hours later a beam of light hit me I fell out the truck and onto a convayerbelt leading to the incinerator where I would get melted but what could I do for myself I was only a 25 year old armchair with one missing leg.

This term I enjoyed play auditions because I got the part Hans and I like the play we chose aquatics was also fun doing all the activities especially sailing, my instructor was very funny he pretended to be a pirate. I loved art especially on fridays when we are learning to draw so it looks 3D.
